So firstly I got four MUA eyeshadows, MUA Eyeshadows are some of the most pigmented eyeshadows I've come across and for £1 you can't go wrong. So the shades I got from left to right were. Shade 7, 5 and 6 pearl and Shade 18 matte.

I seen these 3 eyeshadows on Sale and had to get them, now ignore the colours of the crowns, it's just the colour around that the eyeshadow is, for example the first one is just blue, the crown bit is just for design purposes. Tempted, Siren, Envy.

I'm a very big fan of lipgloss and steer towards lipglosses rather than lipstick, but that's just because red or bright pink lipstick on me is a NO!
GO!!! So rather than a red lipstick I got a red lipgloss MUA Shade 2. Now I've only ever tried MUA clear lipgloss so have no idea how the colour of this lipgloss will work. I thought I'd try NYC Velveteen as it's somewhere between, a pink coral and a nude. The last lipstick I purchased was Plum Rum.

So the last two makeup products I purchased were W7 45 Sunrise and Barry M Limited Edition Lilac Foil. It's a no brainer for why I chose Lilac Foil I love purple and my favourite colour is Lilac. Now the reason I picked sunrise is because I don't have any nail polishes in a shade like this (Light pink with shimmer) and also all my other polishes are getting old so I need new ones and these are my first two.

These aren't makeup related but I love body sprays, mainly So kiss me? and Charlie Red, pink and touch. But they can be on the expensive side especially So Kiss me? When I'm just nipping to the shop (I always like to spray bodyspray before leaving the house) I don't like using my expenisve ones, so when I seen two wilko spays for 99p they seemed like the perfect thing. I chose Spotlight and Desire as they looked the prettiest plus they sounded the nicest. I'll do a review on them soon.

Vintage looking Necklace

I've been really into vintage looking jewellry lately, and when I saw this necklace in New Look I just had to get it. It's absoutely gorgeous, it makes me feel like a princess when I wear it. I also got a floral ring with rusty golden edges, I'll insert my video here, which shows both the necklace and ring along with some more jewellry and some clothes.
Oh and it's the worst thumbnail ever I look awful lol.

Book Haul - January

I am so exicted to read 'The Power of Six' by Pittacus Lore. I really Loved 'I am number four' so this was a must for me. The next book I bought is the first one in the Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins and my reason for getting this is simply because I've heard so many good reviews I wanted to read it for myself. I've been thinking of reading Breakfast at Darcys by Ali McNamara for a while, and so I bought it.
I was walking round the bookshop and came across 'I wish I'd been there' and I thought it would be an interesting read. Lastly I recieved a book from the library, as I've just joined a book club. 'The Uncommen Reader' by Alan Bennett.' I'm halfway through it and so far my instincts are right, it's really not my type of book. Hopefully they choose a good one next.

Casual outfit of the day

This is a casual outfit I wore for New Years Day. My distressed denim skirt is from New Look. My cream fleece hooded jacket is from George at Asda and my pink vest top is from Marks and Spencers. You can see my shoes better in the video below, but my ugg style boots are from Wynsors. My bag was a christmas present from my friend Laura and I got my MET-RX hat from a BodyPower Exo in Birmingham. For makeup I did a brown/red/purple smokey eye look and clear Lipgloss.

8. Leo's Great Escape - Will had spent all christmas eve making a stocking full of sunflower seeds for his hamster Leo. But when Leo's cage door is open he worries that his cat Suzie has ate him as she's happily licking her lips. 10/10
9. The Curious Little Mouse - Esmerelda the mouse keeps hearing a loud roaring noise from far, far away and sets out to see what it is. She finds a river overflowing and falls in. Can she get out and save her family intime from the approaching flood. 6/10
10. Footprints In The Snow - Emily loves staying at her cousins house every christmas except for the scary stories they tell every christmas eve. But this year they are all scared by a strange noise from outside and only Emily is brave enough to investigate. 10/10

Not letting people walk all over you! Oh Maplins!

So the other day my hubby bought our son a remote control UFO for christmas but when I opened it when he got home I seen it didn't come with the spare rotary blade it specified on the box, the only one was the one already attached to the UFO. So this morning I went in without the product just the reciept, and Harry Potter (the shop assistant looked just like him minus the lightning scar) got another off the shelf and said it doesn't come with one nor does it say on the box, so me being nice I said my mistake and left, on arriving home I double checked the box and I was right. So I went straight back and spoke to the man at the front. 'I came in here before about a spare roter blade for the UFO I bought (I showed him the empty box) and Harry Potter at the back said it doesn't mention a spare blade. Now if you look at number 6 on the specification it clearly states their is. Why do you employ people who can't do their job properly and can't read the box specifications. I expect my box to have everything in it and people not too make me a fool.'
'I'll check with the manager but sometimes a box can be misprinted.' He said walking off quickly. Ok how can 100's of boxes be misprinted, still I'm owed a spare blade. He arrives back ten minutes later, with another one of the products. 'The spare blade is in with the USB cable.'
'We never got a spare blade if we did I wouldn't be here.'
'Take it.'
'Do you want to see my reciept first.'
No, no, no just take take the blade, take it.' I took it and he sped off. Woops I think I scared him, anyone would think I was holding him at gun point, oh well his colleague shouldn't be such an idiot. No wonder it doesn't have it's spare parts if the employee's are taking the spare parts for the one's missing and putting the new ones back. So the point of this, is no matter if you are the employee or a customer if you're right stand up for yourself, you get what you want. My dad laughed when I told him and joked that next time he buys a new car he'd take me to help him get some stuff for it, lol.
